Title from title frames

"Home, home on the range..." - words from the famous song that echo as the unofficial anthem of the American West. In this program we are shown how modern-day Westerners are living their life on the range. Former U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell tells of the integral part played by the buffalo in the lives of Native Americans, while cowboys explain the animal's wild characteristics. Also ranchers of alpacas, llamas and gmus champion their practical uses, as well as the pleasure that breeding them brings. Next we learn about raptors as golden and bald eagles are shown for their strength and beauty. Altogether these members of the animal kingdom provide a chance to learn important lessons from living in harmony with the land. And, lastly, we remember life in the days of the one-room schoolhouse
