Filmed primarily in the heart of Bosnia-Herzegovina, The Triumph investigates modern-day apparitions of the Virgin Mary in the Bosnian village of Medjugorge. The film follows Ben, a skeptical young American suffering from addictions, whose parents send him to visit the apparition site in hopes that it will turn his life around. Ben goes to the site with Mirjana Soldo, who claims to see visions of Mary each month. Later, he joins the Cenacolo Community, a rehab community in Medjugorge
