Event Description

Join Rosemary Laudani from the Illinois Treasurer's Office to learn more about IL ABLE. IL ABLE is an account that eligible people with disabilities and their families can open to save for expenses related to living with a disability, without losing their federal means-tested benefits such as SSI, SSDI and Medicaid. Earnings are tax-free, and funds can be withdrawn tax-free to cover a broad range of qualified disability expenses including housing, health and wellness, education and training, therapy, basic living expenses and more.

This program will be recorded for possible sharing on our social media channels later.

You can view the recording of this program on the library's YouTube channel.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accommodation, please call 847.392.0100, text 847.665.1491 or email us at accessibility@ahml.info
