February is Black History Month, a month where we pay tribute to the profound contributions of African Americans to the history and culture of the United States. In celebration of Black History Month, our Readers' Advisors have curated two booklists: Black History Month Booklist and Black Voices 2023.

From Washington Black by Esi Edugyan to The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson, the Black History Month Booklist features fiction and nonfiction books that honor the achievements, rich culture and history of African Americans and recognizes the important contributions of Black individuals in society.
