Based on novels entitled "Guardians of Ga'Hoole" by Kathryn Lasky

Fledgling barn owl Soren lives in the forest of Tyto with his father Noctus, mother Marella, older brother Kludd, younger sister Eglantine, and their snake nest maid Ms. P. Noctus enjoys telling Soren and Eglantine stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythical group of warrior owls, who once saved all owlkind from the evil "Pure Ones." One night Kludd pushes Soren and they both fall to the ground. They are kidnapped taken to the home to the Pure Ones, and put to work: Soren as a slave, and Kludd as a soldier. The Pure Ones' are laying a trap for their enemies, the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. The Pure Ones storm the Great Tree, and the Guardians lead the owls into battle against them, wherein which Soren and his friends emerge to play pivotal roles
