    The library is celebrating its centennial - and we want to hear from you! Throughout 2026, we'll be sharing stories from our community that showcase the impact our library has had throughout the decades.

    Answers may be used in the library's newsletter, as part of an exhibit/display or on the library's social media platforms. Completed questionnaires can be turned in at the library's Info Desk or at the Senior Center Reading Room. The library's Communications & Marketing staff may reach out for more details.

  • Join us for our Preschool & Childcare Information Night

    Considering preschool or childcare for your little one for fall 2026? Spring is the time to start looking! Stop by the ARC's gymnasium to explore your options and talk with providers. Attendees can enter for a chance to win door prizes.

  • Families fill the library to welcome 2026 at Noon Year Party

    On New Year’s Eve, more than 400 people packed the library’s Hendrickson Room and Kids' World to celebrate the end of 2025. The Hendrickson Room buzzed with excitement as families gathered for the “Happy Noon Year Party”, a kid-friendly alternative to ringing in the New Year at midnight. By counting down at noon, children were able to enjoy the festivities without staying up past their bedtime. 

    The Noon Year Party, formerly known as the “Almost New Year’s Party,” is a longstanding library tradition that has also become a tradition for many families in the Arlington Heights community. The program has
