Calling all Teen Filmmakers! You’ve heard of our epic Teen Film Fest that’s held in the summer, but on February 21, The Hub will be hosting an exciting new opportunity for you to showcase your films. A Mini Teen Film Fest!
So what makes it a mini film fest?
Mini Time: Each video you submit needs to be 1 minute or less. Make it snappy, but cram as much creativity and story within that time!
Mini Devices: You’re encouraged (but not required) to use mobiles devices to make your movies. That means smartphones and tablets!
Mini Scale: Extra high fives will be given to those who highlight something mini within their film. That may mean doing a stop-motion film with mini figures, making your actors look mini with the use of special effects, or any other creative way you can integrate all things mini!
How do I participate?
Create your 1 minute film! Make it funny, make it sad, make it scary, make it thought-provoking, make it action-packed, or make it however you like. Just be sure you make it creative!
Upload your film to YouTube, Instagram, or Vine and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the link, your full name, and film category. The deadline for submissions is
Friday, February 14 (EXTENDED) Wednesday, Februrary 19!
