I know you I met you once upon a death we brushed past each other I've been searching (for you) ever since Feel my hollow heart, Hollow lungs, Look into my empty eyes I'm searching...for the hole in my life I dream of you at night only to wake up alone and aching It's no surprise that you've touched my life You knew me once, too I can almost taste the last time I saw you It was another world on a holy day But it all grows fuzzy from there We weren't alone, there is a second hole Now it's impossible to breathe Because how can you breathe without your lungs? You are gone but I can feel you Are you watching me dream of you? Your image fades with the growing dawn Til I cry for what I can't remember The memories are elusive, but they are here. Sweet child of mine, Sweet love divine, Do you haunt me because you're empty, too? Am I crazy, or Am I finally beginning to see?
