Learn4Life is a wonderful database of 6 week instructor-led online courses available to library cardholders. We would encourage you to poke around and discover a course that can help enhance your business!
Of special note, The Discover Digital Photography & Learn to Buy and Sell on eBay courses have been updated recently to reflect the most recent developments in these areas. In addition, a brand new course has been released Introduction to LinkedIn Career Networking, which might be a great resource as your business navigates your social media options for networking and marketing. There are many many more courses available - all with your AHML library card.

The discussion was lively and attendees walked away with a new appreciation for the rich resources at their home library!

On Wednesday, September 25, we're offering an informal roundtable/networking event for local business owners to share what marketing efforts have worked for them, and what hasn't. This event comes one week after our business book discussion on 500 Social Media Marketing Tips. We're hoping the conversation will continue, and local business owners will connect in an atmosphere of friendly networking and sharing of information. Sometimes business owners and solopreneurs just need to be with other's who "get it," so come join us!

Welcome to the latest database tutorial! This is a basic tutorial on how to navigate the contents of our Atomic Training database. This database provides 1-2 minute video tutorials on over 300 topics including Photoshop, Microsoft Office, GarageBand and more! If you're wanting to learn more about Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Google, Social Media or other common products/software, this is a wonderful learning resource for you or your employees. This database is exclusively for Arlington Heights Library cardholders. If your business is located in Arlington Heights you are eligible for a Business Library Card that will allow you access to this fabulous resource.

By submitting patron-generated content, patrons warrant they are the sole authors or that they have obtained all necessary permission associated with copyrights and trademarks to submit such content.
Patrons are liable for the opinions expressed and the accuracy of the information contained in the content they submit. The Library assumes no responsibility for such content.
The Library reserves the right not to post submitted content or to remove patron-generated content for any reason, including but not limited to:
content that is profane, obscene, or pornographic;
content that is abusive, discriminatory or hateful on account of race, national origin, religion, age, gender, disability, or sexual orientation;
content that contains threats, personal attacks, or harassment;
content that contains solicitations or advertisements;
content that is invasive of another person’s privacy;
content that is unrelated to the discussion or venue in which it is posted;
