Welcome to the latest database tutorial! This is a basic tutorial on how to navigate the contents of our Atomic Training database. This database provides 1-2 minute video tutorials on over 300 topics including Photoshop, Microsoft Office, GarageBand and more! If you're wanting to learn more about Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Google, Social Media or other common products/software, this is a wonderful learning resource for you or your employees. This database is exclusively for Arlington Heights Library cardholders. If your business is located in Arlington Heights you are eligible for a Business Library Card that will allow you access to this fabulous resource.

 Our fourth database tutorial is now available! This video will help you navigate our Learn4Life Database. It's a wonderful resource for lifelong learning as well as business training.

If the quality looks fuzzy on your screen after you click Play, just click on the small "gear" symbol at the bottom of the video to change the quality of your video to 720p HD. This should improve your viewing experience!

AHML has a new database that we are very excited about, it's geared toward the lifelong learner and business owner looking to grow, build skills, or train employees. Learn4Life provides in-depth, instructor-led, 6-week classes on tech topics, health-care training, business/accounting, personal development, law, test prep, art, photography, writing, and more. Some classes can lead to certification.

Courses are FREE and accessible from home, office, or inside the library to Arlington Heights Cardholders, including Business Library Cardholders.

We're excited to share our second spotlight video featuring a local business! Tropical Smoothie Cafe is located at 315 E Rand Road and offers customers a range of healthy food choices custom made with fresh ingredients, catering, fundraisers, delivery and more. Check out their spotlight!

Business Services will continue to add to this series of business spotlight videos in 2013. Future videos will highlight Arlington Heights small businesses, their niche in the local community, and how businesses can utilize the library’s resources.
