The deadline is fast approaching for submitting entries for our 6th annual Teen Film Fest which is open to teens ages 12–18. All films must be submitted as YouTube video links by July 27 to firstname.lastname@example.org.

This year's films will be judged by Daily Herald film critic Dann Gire, Metropolis screenwriter and resident playwright Scott Woldman and Michelle Harris, movie-lover and wife of State Representative David Harris.
$50 cash prizes will be awarded for these categories:
Best Overall Film
Best Performance by an Actor or Actress
Best Music Video
Best Film Shot on a Mobile Device
Best Use of an Arlington Heights Landmark in the Film
Thinking of entering? Check out the rules and guidelines which include a waiver and entry form that must be completed and turned in at the Customer Services Desk at the library.
Then join us on Sunday, August 5, at 2 p.m. to watch the film fest at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre. Anyone interested in attending the screening may call the Metropolis box office at 847-577-2121 to reserve seats for this free event.
