This book has three stories going on at once: Islamic terrorist bombings, the murder of a political candidate, and a plot by an accused murderer to kill the prosecutor and police detective who are trying to convict him.
Because of the number of plots going on, along with corrupt officials in both Brazil and Paraguay, there are numerous characters in the overall story. With so many characters, it was sometimes difficult to keep track of them. I am not sure if it would have been easier with the printed book versus the audio version.
The story was fine and I was surprised by a portion of the ending.
