Shannon has worked in public libraries for over 13 years, her professional background includes reference, library programming, interlibrary loan services, social media marketing and technology training. She specializes in assisting small businesses and entrepreneurs with using the library’s resources and frequently presents on social media and technology. Shannon is active with the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce and local business and professional groups. She earned an MLIS from Dominican University and is active in public library organizations.

With 15 years of experience, Julie is no stranger to the unique world of the small business owner. She established her husband’s landscaping and home improvement business as an S-Corporation and maintained all of the bookkeeping, payroll, marketing, and communications for 12 years. She is also a professional photographer, and has worn every hat of the entrepreneur for the last five years. Julie is passionate about supporting small businesses, teaching and encouraging the local entreprenuer with local resources and marketing tips based on personal experience.
