Community members are invited to attend a State of the Village program hosted by the library. Representatives of governmental entities serving the residents of Arlington Heights, including the village, park district, school districts 21, 23, 25, 59 and 214 will give a brief presentation on highlights of the past year and future plans. The library will also give a presentation including announcing the book selection for this year's One Book, One Village community read.
This event is an informational community update; no official business will be conducted by these governmental boards. It will be broadcast on cable TV at a later date. Refreshments will be served.
