Miss Representation: Film Screening and Discussion


The library is honoring Women's History Month with a film showing of Miss Representation. The documentary takes an in-depth look at how the media's misrepresentations of women have led to a discriminatory and stereotypical portrayal of females in positions of power, and addresses the impact this has on people in their everyday interactions. Join us for a screening of the film, followed by a discussion.
