The First Rule of Punk by Celia Pérez
Malú loves skateboarding, punk rock music, and zines. She is just trying to be herself, but her mom would rather she behave like a proper señorita. Fitting in is hard at her new school, but Malú finds that "sometimes you follow the rules, sometimes you break the rules, and sometimes it’s a lot more fun to just go on out and make your own rules."

Join us for a fun afternoon of discussion, activities and snacks. Pick up a copy of the book at the Kids' World desk.
