Get Help With Taxes

We have Illinois and federal tax forms and publications at our self-serve Tax Station, located in our nonfiction and reference area. You will also find guides such as J.K. Lasser’s Your Income Tax 2009 and The Ernst & Young Tax Guide 2009. If you can’t find what you need, the information specialists at the Answer Center will gladly assist you.

Seniors, age 60 and older, and disabled persons of any age can get free tax counseling from IRS-trained AARP tax aides. Sign up at the Reception Desk, 847-392-0100, or online. Appointments are available Monday mornings February 16–April 13 at 9:15, 10:15 or 11:15 a.m. in the Hendrickson Meeting Room.
