Kick off National Senior Health & Fitness Day with a free, nutritious, continental breakfast sponsored by the park district and the library from 8:30–10 a.m. Then attend a dance fitness demo, get a free massage and have your blood pressure screened. Advance registration required for lunch - $4 age 60 and up; $5 for all others. Free entertainment by Banjo Buddies Dixieland Trio. For a complete list of activities, times, fees and registration, contact the Senior Center at 847-253-5532 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.  Sponsored by the library and other community agencies serving older adults.

When you come to Senior Health and Fitness Day, learn about health and fitness-related websites. Ten-minute sessions begin every quarter hour. Attend a session and you will be entered in a drawing for a fitness book or DVD. No fees.
