First graders, come in and get your picture taken with a book you can read all by yourself! Your photo may be displayed in our I Can Read area. Bring a familiar book to read aloud to a librarian and check in at the Kids' World Desk. Register for the date only, then drop in any time between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m.
Date and time: Tuesdays, through July 27, 10 a.m.–noon (Sign up for 15-minute session) Location: Kids' World Desk Young readers ages 5–8 are invited to practice their reading skills at the Library this summer. Come in and read to one of the Junior Library Volunteers. Register online or at the Reception Desk, 847-392-0100.
