Tuesdays, February 10–April 28, 9:30 a.m.–noon and Wednesdays, February 11–April 29, 7–9:30 p.m. / Hendrickson Meeting RoomThe classes are sponsored by District 214’s READ TO LEARN Literacy/Volunteer program for English-speaking adults who are learning to read and/or developing reading skills. There’s no advanced registration. Participants must attend the first meeting date where they will be tested and then notified if they are accepted. Classes are free. The library offers classes for English-speaking adults who are learning to read and/or are developing reading skills. The classes are sponsored by District 214 Community Education's Read to Learn literacy program. Participants must attend the first meeting where they will be tested and notified if they qualify for the class. A donation of $10 per class for materials is requested.
ESL students are invited to practice their English conversation skills at a monthly social group. No need to call; just come. Everyone is welcome!
