Kids World is happy to announce a new program for both kids and the adults in their lives. Desserts, Books and More is an intergenerational book discussion club designed for book lovers of all ages. Our first selection is Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. Don't miss the fun and of course the yummy treats.
You never know what you will find in Kids World. Yesterday we were all about making robots with just a pager battery and 3 volt motor. Of course we had to put our own spin on it by covering the electronics with a decorated plastic egg. Check out the results!
If you enjoy writing or are interested in giving it a try, we have just the club for you. It's called Kids' Ink. Conducted by local author Carol Brendler, you will have the opportunity to write, share your work, and receive constructive feedback. Each meeting will be held the third Thursday of every month after school. Check the calendar for details and to register. For ages 10-13
If your status is Confirmed Registration, your spot for the event is confirmed.
If registration for this event is full, you will be placed on a waiting list. Wait listed registrants are moved to the confirmed registration list (in the order of registration) when cancelations are received. You will receive an email notification if you are moved from the wait list to the confirmed registration list.
