This book was written to shed light on loss that occurred with Hurricane Katrina. Highlighted are the short stories written by the author that were originally meant to be published in the volume Songs of the City. Stories like The Gravetender, The Rain, and others. Songs of a City Redone is an attempt to talk about nonmaterial loss that was a result of the flooding. The stories have been summarized as best as possible.
