This is the story of Rachel Glenn. She is, in almost every respect, an ordinary young college woman living in Los Angeles in the year 2018. She is the product of a broken home, a marginal Catholic who rarely if ever attends Mass, and attends UC Northridge on a combinations of loans and grants. Until her twenty-first birthday, it could be said that she had a bright--if rather uneventful--future ahead of her. It takes only a few hours to turn her life completely upside down.
