Ethnic cleansing of indigenous population for upward social mobility

Nefarious characters use ethnic cleansing of indigenous population for upward social mobility. The title characters, Boxtrolls, raise orphan boy. Think Romulus without Remus, or Mowgli from Jungle book. Girl from the ruling class meets the orphan and together they save the world. Essentially, the movie is Avatar in "clay-mation", with two-foot instead of ten-foot natives and cardboard boxes instead of blue skin.

Half the movie is in Cockney English so thick that Dickens would need a translation. Where is Dr. Henry Higgins when you need him? The clever and intelligent song “Boxtrolls” is, unfortunately, sung in falsetto. Some American group should sing it so everyone can understand and enjoy it.

Interesting diversion for older children and adults interested in trying to understand highly accented English.
