Dr. Alexander Cameron has devoted his life to medicine and healing. Now, after a night of excessive drinking, he collapses from a heart attack in his home. At the mercy of a crippling snowstorm that shuts down all the roads, his only hope is hs colleague, Dr. Finlay. As the storm worsens and knocks out both the power and the phone lines, Dr. Finaly works his innovative healing skills to care from his patient.
