Frozen for three centuries in their star ship the Andromeda Ascendant, captain Dylan Hunt and his All-Systems Commonwealth crew are revived by a passing salvage ship. They awake to the news that the Commonwealth, in place to maintain peace amidst the galaxies, has crumbled and barbarism has spread chaos amongst the stars, Captain Hunt and his crew must now travel the universe on a mission to restore the COmmonwealth and bring unity and hope to a galaxy that no longer knows the meaning of peace
