Detective Jack Frost returns to seek out the unpleasant truth, often at great personal cost. This season Frost raids an illegal dogfighting ring, hoping to nab a local gangster, but the thug eludes him, and a brutal killing follows. Meanwhile, he is disturbed to find that someone is copying a series of unsolved crimes from years earlier, and Frost himself may be the killer's next victim. Most unexpected of all, love finally finds the aging detective, but will he get to live happily ever after?
