A successful Russian-American writer overhears a strange conversation. Two beautiful women at a nearby table in a fashionable restaurant are discussing how to deceive an oligarch and then marry him. Paul Saveltsev is stunned not only because of the uninhibited behavior of the girlfriends while discussing the intimate aspects of their lives, but also their vast knowledge of various ways to get married. One year later, he sees one of the beauties-- with a baby, accompanied by a well-known businessman. They do not look happy. When the name of a Moscow cemetery and the date of the death of his first wife and children is mentioned, the spirit of a researcher awakens in the writer. In pursuit of a new plot Saveltsev finds himself becoming the hero
