Better Than the Movie!

This book follows two teenagers on a night out partying in Manhattan. Told in alternating first person point of view chapters, the protagonists are well developed. Their perspectives on the same events show the differing views of the characters and provide insight into their thoughts of each other and all that they experience on this whirlwind night. The voice of the narrators, imagery used, and "the playlist" of songs described in the narrative make the reader feel like they are part of the fast paced story especially if they are familiar with the city and the songs referenced.
