NOTES

A DVD release of 2000 motion picture

The original title for this film was The Cup. Since there is another film that has the same title, and this other film was produced and released before this one, so this one changed it's title to Road to Glory and then finally changed it's title to A shot to glory

MPAA rating: R

Coaoch Gordon McLeod (DuVall) leads a scrappy soccer team of misfits from the tiny fishing village of Kilnockie, vying for the Scottish Cup, led by the recently-acquired star punter, Jackie McQuillan (McCoist). There's friction in the air as Jackie is married to McLeod's daughter, which is something that McLeod has been against. The season the film follows is especially important, as the team's American owner (Keaton) may move the team to Dublin if they don't win the Cup

Director, Michael Corrente ; screenwriter, Denis O'Neill

Starring Robert Duvall, Ally McCoist, Michael Keaton, Kirsty Mitchell, Brian Cox and Cole Hauser
