Located on the first floor of the library, the Studio offers the space, equipment, and software for you to get creative with video, music, graphic design, and more. Our staff can help you get your project off the ground and assist with issues along the way.
Here are some examples of what you can do in the Studio:
- Shoot, edit, and share your own videos
- Scan, touch up, and share family photos
- Create a brochure or flyer for your small business or organization

The Go Green @ Your Illinois Library, an Illinois Library Association project, will be awarding cash this fall.
The Go Green, Win Green Contest will award four $1,000 cash prizes for each of these green ideas:
- $1,000 for the most replicable green idea for business (chosen by drawing)
- $1,000 for the most replicable green idea for residences (chosen by drawing)

Many current issues of magazines and newspapers are in the newsstand near the café on the first floor. Current issues of some technical and professional magazines and quarterlies can be found in the Shackley Room on the second floor.
