Over 60 computers are available in the library, with Internet access, paid information databases, word processing and more for adults and children. Computers in Kids' World are filtered.
Laptop computers are available at the Computer Desk for use throughout the library.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the library. In order to connect to the Library's wireless network, the user needs an 802.11B network card and will need to set their SSID to AHML-A and set the TCP/IP settings to automatically obtain an IP address. Wireless Network User Agreement
Computer and Internet Classes
Computer classes are taught by subject matter experts. A fee may be charged for courses taught by outside professionals. Sign up online, or at the Reception Desk on the second level, or by calling 847-392-0100.

To help you find reliable information online, the library offers free access to subscription databases on a variety of subjects.
From the list of databases A - Z, just click on a title, and log in using your name and library card number.
